RUNNING WITH A WEBSITE BUILDER

Monday, October 25th, 2010

I joined a running event a couple of weeks ago. The distance was 21 kilometers. Running is one of my few interests. For me, running gives me peace of mind. It keeps my sanity. I run every other day in preparation for a running event that I will be joining. In that running event, I had a different kind of experience. In every race, I aim at breaking my personal record. That’s my motivation whenever I run. I don’t compete with anyone. I just compete with myself. In the 8th kilometer of the race, I ran side-by-side with a guy who was just running his own pace. Perhaps his goal was to finish the race. Suddenly, he talked to me. He introduced himself. We talked about how we got into running. He was sharing with me his running experiences and how he badly finished a 21K distance a year ago. As we talked and discussed some personal things, I started to like him. When I saw the 16th kilometer marker, I checked my watch and noticed that I was way off my target time. With just five kilometers left, I was thinking if I will leave the guy behind who was already panting. I decided to run alongside with him. He was already breathing heavily in the last three kilometers. We finished the race and he expressed his happiness for meeting a guy like me. I gave him my mobile number and my email address. A few days later, I received an email from him telling me to check a website. to run alongside with him. He was already breathing heavily in the last three kilometers. We finished the race and he expressed his happiness for meeting a guy like me. I gave him my mobile number and my email address. A few days later, I received an email from him telling me to check a website. When I checked the website, I learned that he works as website builder
for a leading computer company in the world. He was thankful to me for pacing him. If not for me, he would have finished the race badly. Remembering his appearance, you wouldn’t notice that he’s a computer freak and an executive. He is a normal guy who is running just to be relieved of the stress that his work gives him.

BJU PRESS HOMESCHOOL FOR YOUR TYPICAL SUBURBAN FAMILY

Friday, October 1st, 2010

Living with one’s family in the typical American suburban neighbourhood is near perfect. You have well-caring middle class neighbors who greet you early in the morning while you water the plants. You have great churches, organizations, cooking parties, and the like. You have great suburban shopping malls, camping sites, a kind police force, and the court system isn’t as complicated as the ones in the cities. Of course, the downside of suburban living is the cost. People usually spend thousands of dollars in a month for transportation costs alone. Aside from that, the cost of living is definitely much higher as you don’t have too many choices with the grocery stores and the repair services around unlike in the ultra-competitive city centres. Looking for a good school is also tough. The public schools are far from the suburban neighborhoods and if one is available, you will not expect good quality and don’t expect that the people working there are ordinary suburban folks like you. There are church-owned and secular private schools but they are too expensive. If you have one child and your spouse earns a six-digit salary in a year, then you might afford to place your child in such a school. What if you don’t have that much money? The remedy is homeschooling. Check out the BJU press homeschool Website.

Homeschooling is the perfect alternative. The cost of schooling is significantly reduced. The cost is merely limited to the books you buy from the stores or download from the internet, and the cost of the curriculums. You may also want to spend for the services of professional teachers who conduct piano, guitar, karate, or other special classes. Compare that to the amount you will spend on transportation, uniforms, school activities, and the like if you opt to place your child in either a private or public school. You have to be practical these days. BJU press homeschool curriculum and programs are the best ones for your children.
