If you want to be saved, Respect the holy book

Majority of the entire human population today is biblically illiterate. These people admit that they believe in God. However, these people also admit that they know very little about the scriptures that are written in the Holy book. Yet every time their life experience rough times, every time they travel through unpleasant incidents, every time they need something like money and blessing, they seek for God’s direction.
In relation, recently there have been constant rumors that 2012 might be the end of the world. There are reports of worsening wars in Libya, Egypt, and Iran. Also, some parts of the world are alarmed due to the current devastation of Japan that was made by the 8.9 magnitude earthquake that had caused a tsunami. Neighboring countries, and even continents such as the United States, are terrified and worried of what might happen next.
In a recent research made by the Barna Group, statistics show that 75% believe that the Bible teaches that God help those people who believes in themselves. One is believed to help themselves by doing the simplest thing. It is, of course, by basically reading the Bible.
So with all this in mind, I want to encourage all my readers to start reading the Bible. Read it cover to cover. Have a copy and make sure to take care of it. Take care of it just like how God gives us the huge benefits of reading and learning from His words.
